  Brunch. . .
  
  We had the most lovely brunch here at the Lotus. Ordered:
  
  Breakfast Burrito
  Classic Pancakes
  Lavender Lemonade
  
  Portion sizes were filling!
  Food was so delicious and fresh
  Seating was available and comfy
  Parking wasn't bad.
  $35 for 2 people was also very affordable
  
  Will definitely add Blossoming Lotus to my "must try again" when visiting Portland, list!

  First of all, amazing service! I came in here and didn't expect much but the waiters were so patient and kind and willing to accommodate us even though it was getting close to closing time.
  
  Food: I got the Green bowl with soy curls and the curls were absolutely the highlight of the meal! So savory and added a kick to the meal. The green bowl was also great but it was also a little bit more bland without the curls.
  
  Service: The best part! The waiter we had was super patient and super accommodating for our friends' super quick timeline on food and also kept refilling our water!
  
  Ambiance: It was finer dining and a really good place to talk since it was quieter.
  
  Overall, a super solid place to get food and a really good vibe for a hipster vegan place!

  I have had the pleasure of dining at Blossoming Lotus many times. The atmosphere is comfortable and stylish. There are dark wood tables and chairs, a lovely chandelier and a huge mirror on one wall. There are a few tables on the sidewalk out front where you can dine when the weather is nice. There are huge trees overhead that provide ample shade.
      The food here is 100% plant based. Local farms are sourced and they use organic food whenever possible. The menu offers a mix of raw and cooked food choices. Every item I've tried from their menu has been delicious. Today I ordered the chickpea chana masala curry which was outstanding. My friend ordered the live nachos which he raved about.
      The service has always been pleasant though not as great as the food. The server at Kinara has set the bar very high and all others whined up being compared to him in my eyes.
      Blossoming Lotus has a full bar and offers local organic beer in addition to wine and house-made craft cocktails.
      A meal at Blossoming Lotus is sure to please so give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

  Delicious food, but parking was a big challenge. We passed by earlier with a rental car, but could not find a parking space within walking distance. We had to go back to where we stayed and uber there. Still worth it! Food and drinks were on point. The lavender lemonade was so aromatic! Take an Uber and head there for a try!

  5 stars because this place is meat-lover approved. My hubby was skeptical, but tried the lentil walnut burger with fingerling potatoes. He was sold! I had the live nachos which were so yummy! The combination of the guacamole, cashew cream, cilantro, pecan nut meat and vegan cheddar cheese was a symphony of goodness. I see why this is their most popular appetizer. We also had the bibimbap with a side of peanut sauce which was fresh and flavorable. The broccoli, cabbage slaw and marinated mushrooms were my fav. I wish I had room for dessert.  I guess I'll have to come back for a dessert run!
